Our Story

Andi and Mark first met at Mark's 23rd birthday party in downtown Chicago. That night Andi, having been separated from the couple she arrived with, looked around for a friendly face in the crowd. She saw a man in his late 50's smiling and drinking a beer so Andi decided to introduce herself. After chatting with the man about finance for 30 minutes, and three beers later, she confessed that she didn't know whose birthday they were celebrating. The man, Jeff Roberts, replied "Are you kidding!? It's my son's party", beckoned Mark over, and introduced the two. After the party, Mark invited Andi to come see his favorite cover band perform to which she tentatively agreed. Two weeks later, he took her to a beer festival at the Aragon Ballroom, and it has been magic ever since.

It's been a beautifully spontaneous, unpredictable, and joyous path towards marriage for us and we can't wait to celebrate with you in July!

FAQ

Is there transportation available between the hotel and the venue?

We will have a charter bus that will take people to the venue and back to the hotels from the reception at specified times. Uber/Lyft are convenient and easy ways to get around the area as well.

If you choose to drive to the venue, please enter through the main gate and drive up the scenic 2 miles to the Castle. Please drive carefully as there is a lot of wildlife on the property. There is a parking lot to the left of the Castle where you may park and walk up through the green gate.

Are kids invited?

Yes! We love kids and want the whole family to celebrate, but we will not be providing child care or entertainment for children.
